Project Planning + Controls

The Hargrove Team uses sophisticated software to monitor and manage every phase of our projects, from preliminary engineering and conceptual stages through construction and start-up. These tools allow us to efficiently and accurately develop schedules, monitor work progress, track costs, allocate resources, and provide detailed reports for our customers.

We always involve the client in the planning process to ensure satisfaction. Hargrove has an extensive project planning, scheduling, and cost-estimating team that will work to meet the client’s cost and schedule needs. Hargrove understands the importance of reporting, cost control, and an accurate schedule. We have the ability to hold interactive planning sessions, develop and define work scopes, provide risk analysis, hold integrated web-based schedule maintenance, and provide turnover coordination.

In the process of estimating a project, the front-end estimate is typically conceptual (order of magnitude). We run a risk analysis based on the data available at the time and assess its accuracy part by part. These factors enter into the accuracy level associated with the estimate. As development of the project progresses and as the scope and information becomes more defined, additional risk analyses are run to institute better accuracy with less contingency. Hargrove has successfully performed these Phase 2 type estimates a number of times for our clients. Our project planning and controls capabilities include:
